Co-presenting bbc one show with kYm marsh

Ashley John-Baptiste, inspiring motivational speaker, BBC News Reporter and champion for looked after children, is excited to be co-presenting a new five part BBC One Show with ‘Coronation Street’ star Kym Marsh.   The investigative series ‘For Love or Money' will examine the various tricks used by con artists during romance frauds where online daters are scammed out of thousands of pounds. 

The BBC recently said: "Each episode of the series will see Kym and Ashley look into one case, in the forensic style of a crime investigation. 

Their aim is to expose the sophisticated techniques fraudsters use to pull at an individual's heartstrings, so they can empty their bank balance.

Watch out for Ashley on BBC1 - The week-long series is due on our screens this autumn.

Ashley John-Baptiste appeared on CBBC’s Newsround, he was interviewed about the proposed change in the law with regards to fostering. The chief executives of the NSPCC, Barnardo’s and the Children’s Society are among dozens of prominent figures supporting a move to stop teenagers being forced out of their foster families when they turn 18, they propose the age should be raised to 21. Ashley, who was in foster care from the age of 2, totally supports this proposed change. His speaking engagement and workshop on 21 June is to inspire and motivate over 200 Year 9 students from local schools. Ashley is delighted to be invited to Oxford Brookes and looks forward to meeting the students and staff.
